Why I love the Word of God! ~ 3 Reasons!
The Lord gives the Word [of power]; the women who bear and publish [the news] are a great host. AMP The Lord gives the Word; the women who announce the news are a great host: ESV The Lord gave the command; a great company of women brought the good news: Holman Christian standard Bible. You gave the command, and a chorus of women told what had happened: CEV The Lord announces victory, and throngs of women shout the happy news. New Living Translation The Lord gives the command; The women who proclaim the good tidings are a great host: NASB The Lord gives the Word. And the women who tell the good news are many. NLV
Jesus said to her, Woman, why are you crying [so]? For Whom are you looking? Supposing that it was the gardener, she replied, Sir, if you carried Him away from here, tell me where you have put Him and I will take Him away. Jesus said to her, Mary! Turning around she said to Him in Hebrew, Rabboni!--which means Teacher or Master. Jesus said to her, Do not cling to Me [do not hold Me], for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to My brethren and tell them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God. Away came Mary Magdalene, bringing the disciples news (Word) that she had seen the Lord and that He had said these things to her. John 20:15-18 AMP
Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matt 28:16-20
He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My Name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; Mark 16:16-17
As Jesus and His disciples were on their way, He came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to Him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what He said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to Him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!"
