The Funds which we receive from the sales of our cookbook will go in equal portions to the Annapolis Area Christian School's Lower, Middle, and High Schools.

Description of The Timeless Treasures Cookbook –

             Timeless Treasures will be a full categorized cookbook, from hors d'oeuvres to desserts and everything in between, filled with tips on cooking and hospitality, words of encouragement, and memorable notes.     

The Goal is to have the best, most convenient, tastiest, and heart warming morsels of delectable delights in one book!!  We need all categories!  -  Hors d'oeuvres , appetizers, dips, beverages, soups, salads, breads, vegetables, main courses, desserts of ALL kinds, International recipes, Restaurant recipes, Family Legacy recipes, etc.   

 This cookbook will also be Readable, for those who love to curl up with a good book.  Please consider adding a few words about your recipe that will inspire the reader to make and eat it.  You can mention comments like – this is my daughter’s/ husband’s favorite, can make ahead of time,  great for a large party, low in sugar, carbs, salt,…,  freezes well, this dish is practically eaten before it is served!, This won the blue ribbon prize for three years in a row!, One time when  I made this…, My grandmother used to…,  This has been in our family for generations…, variations include…, .

Timeless Treasures should be a tool for Hospitality as God encourages us!       

 Tangible Help  We Need from You! -  

WE NEED >>>

         Your Your most treasured recipes?  We need 3-4  (at least) tried and true recipes that you find irresistible!  These recipes can be from your own kitchen, cookbooks, magazines, family, or friends.  We need all categories!  -  Hors d'oeuvres , appetizers, dips, beverages, soups, salads, breads, vegetables, main courses, desserts of ALL kinds, International recipes, Restaurant recipes, Family Legacy recipes, etc.

Quips and quotes, stories from your family, your favorite Bible verses to encourage and build up, funny anecdotes, and culinary, diet or hospitality tips.  These should be short and succinct, about 2-4 lines long.  You do not need to contribute a recipe in order to send us your quip or quote!    Just fill out and send us our QUOTE FORM.

Let Others Know of this fund raiser!  Your family in and out of state, your church family, your neighbors and friends all can contribute to and purchase this Timeless Treasure! 

How to Get us Your Recipes!   

1.  Place your recipes and/or cookbook(s) with the recipe pages marked, in an envelope or zip lock bag.  Then put the packet in the basket provided in the lower, middle and high school offices.  Please be sure to include your name, phone number, e-mail address, and how many recipes you have included.  We will promptly return your recipes to the office where you left them. 

2.  Type them and mail them directly to us.   Please be sure to put “recipes” on the subject line and include your name.

3.   If both of these ways are not convenient, please call. 

4.   Every Contributor gets a Free Cookie Cookbook as a grateful “Thank You!”  Plus Timeless Treasures has a Contributor Index so that your recipes can be found just by looking up your name!

We Need People from their home to -

v    Pray & pray for the success of this cookbook - for many recipes received and blessing others in hospitality. 

v     Send Recipes, Recipes, Recipes!!!  Pick out incredible recipes (even from many sources!) and bring them or e-mail them to us.  See Tangible Help  

v   Type – just a few people make quick work! You can do it from your home!

v     Proof what has been typed. Can be done from your home!

v     Forward this email for more recipes to come in!! Ask your church, friends and extended family to be involved.  This is an outreach project.  

Personal Messages –  You may place a personal message in our Timeless Treasures Cookbook for a nominal fee.  This book will be spread from family to family, read and used, and kept for generations to reach a wide geographical audience. 

It costs only $25 per quarter page,  $35 per one-third page,  $50 per half page, or $100 per full page to place your message and reach thousands of families.  Please consider supporting our school!  We look forward to hearing from you soon!!  Please contact Crystal Bowers.  

Businesses –  You may consider placing an advertisement or your web page in our Timeless Treasures Cookbook.  This is a book that will be spread from family to family, read and used, and kept for generations.  This book will be sold on the internet and we already have orders from out of state and from other countries.  However, the bulk of our sales will be in Maryland. 

The cost is only $25 per quarter page,  $35 per one-third page,  $50 per half page, or $100 per full page to post your advertisement.  You can place your name, your web page address and more to reach thousands of families.  Please consider supporting our school and promoting your business!! Book Purchases -  Orders are already being taken!  Timeless Treasures Cookbook should be available in December, with about 800 recipes at about $12.00.  Thanks to you, it’ll make great Christmas, birthday, wedding, anniversary and graduation presents!  Just contact us .  

          What will make this cookbook a Success is YOU!  We have been guaranteed by the book publisher that if every family contributes at least three recipes, the cookbook will succeed!  We hope that this cookbook will be your own family heirloom given to your friends and family for Christmas, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, and many other special occasions.  The treasures of your recipes and others will insure the high value and timeless quality of Timeless Treasures, thus assuring that our outreach will bless many people year after year.   If you have any suggestions or questions, we would love to hear from you!  Please send them directly to us. 

A personal note ~             

            As chairperson, my motivation for this cookbook is three fold.  First, I would love to have a collection of all of those great foods which we have tasted over the years.  Second, I would like to help in leaving a legacy that would outlast my family's tenure here.  Thirdly, I would like to see AACS extend our hospitality, faith, and love beyond our campuses in a tangible way for God's Glory alone.
