I was overly blessed and honored to be asked to be the speaker at the extended women’s retreat in Duck, NC for October
9 -16, 2005.
This retreat was truly
spectacular. Not only were the
accommodations phenomenal but more importantly, the women were genuinely warm and
responsive. During this time, we enjoyed the company of other women as we learned about how to care for one
another, through prayer and support, and how to take our Love of God and include
it in everything we do. We learned greater ways to minister to each other and
were more enabled to receive
others’ care so our unity in the Body of Christ would be greater, our Joy
would
be full, and Christ was glorified!
The teachings included an introduction on how God fulfills our Seven
Universal Needs and was followed with
an in-depth and directly applicable study of Jesus’ encounters with certain
people, their reactions to Him, and the changes in their life and those around
them as a result of their encounter, both good and bad, plus a lot more.
We enjoyed games, eating and personal sharing
together as well as times of rest and quiet reflection on the beach.
We had quite a blessed time! You can get more of an idea by looking
at the brochure!
