~   Berean Women   ~

The Berean Women's Sunny Daisy photo is a courtesy of Sarah. It is a wonderful picture of freshness and bright light, in the best way. What a great "symbol" for how we are to be for God in His garden! Shining for His Glory! Reflecting His Light.

  Berean Women is a group of young women from ages 12-22. We meet at Mrs. Bowers' home every other Saturday evening  starting on May 22, 2010.  It is a non-denominational and non-church affiliated gathering for women. Click for our Statement of Faith . It is run by Mrs. Diane Tayman and Mrs. Crystal Bowers. 

Berean Women meet at 6-6:30 pm and share food and caring until 7pm. From 7-7:30 ish we worship Jesus Christ our Lord. Next we talk about what we understand God is doing in our lives. Then Mrs. Bowers teaches a relevant topic from the Word of God for 20-30 minutes. Then we discuss and teach back to one another what we have learned and how we can live it practically. (This is a really fun  part!) Finally we pray for each other and enjoy each other and the Lord before we go home. It is over about 9:30, but some women enjoy staying longer. 

Meeting rules for Berean Women: You are loved and accepted Unconditionally. Everything shared is kept confidential. Each woman is exceedingly valuable and special just as God has lovingly created her. (Psalm 139)  Your worth is immeasurable. You are a treasure to us and to the Lord God Almighty. The Lord Jesus Christ will be honored, worshipped and praised. The King is enthralled by your beauty; honor Him, for He is your Lord. Psalm 45:11  

    You are invited to come to our upcoming Berean Women's meeting on Saturday night. It is roughly from 6 pm to 9:30 pm. Be prepared to be honored and very blessed. We look forward to seeing you!

        Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11

For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

     so is My Word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2
